These cards are sent:

-Birthday celebrations
-End of treatment celebration
-Remission anniversary
-Every milestone in their cancer treatment journal.
Day of Kindness
We need volunteers to assist us during our visits to the Ronald McDonald House of Charities in New Haven, CT. During this visits we bring donations to the house, gifts to all the family members at the house on that day, food, and an art activity (Individual and group). We need your help before the visit getting the packages ready with the gifts, picking up donations around town from our supporters. At the event you can help us with set up, enjoy time with the adults and play time children in the house. Then clean up before our departure. Our visits are usually from 4:00-8:00P.M. You can meet us there or drive with us.

Painting With Grace
We need 1-2 volunteers to assist us with the painting class while the artist in charge guides the activity. The art program runs during the spring/summer. It's an hour long class for children and adults. Childhood cancer families joined the class for FREE.

Hat/Book/Toy Drive
We need children and adults to organize hat, book and/or toy drives at their school or work place. We add these items to care packages we sent to children affected by cancer and their siblings. We will help you by providing you with the items needed to run a successful drive.

Lemonade Stand
During the summer Grace sets up a lemonade stand every Wednesday and Thursday on Glenbrook Rd. Children are welcome to come to help her selling lemonade and treats. They can also help by spreading awareness about childhood cancer with our customers. If you are interested on setting up at stand anywhere else, please contact us and we will be happy to share some information with you to run a successful stand to support us.
Locks of Kindnesss
We support Wigs For Kids and Pantene. We organize hair cutting events to benefit those organizations by partnering with local hair salons. If you are interested on donating your hair, please reach out to us.
